Toast with blend coffee makes a simple breakfast. One visitor to the Takebashi branch after a run around the Imperial Palace said they ordered ham-and-egg toast with a blend coffee. It is an easy pairing to picture when you want a light meal and a morning coffee. The menu also lists morning sets served with blend or iced coffee: bacon and egg, ham and egg salad, or tuna salad with cheese. These offer different fillings from the toast breakfast, with coffee at the centre of the meal choice.
For lunch or a light bite, there are Milano Sandwiches. A combines fresh ham, boneless ham and Bologna sausage; B features shrimp, avocado and salmon with cheddar cheese. Choose between a meat-filled sandwich and a combination of seafood and avocado.
The Takebashi branch is on basement floor 1 of the Palace Side Building, and offers both dine-in and takeaway. It opens from 6:45 on Tuesdays to Fridays and from 10:00 on Saturdays. It works for breakfast or for picking up a sandwich as a light meal.
